Some More Cool Places to Check Out

Newport Beach is the epitome of luxury and charm. A coastal haven known for picturesque boutiques, tranquil waters, and a shoreline that stretches as far as the eye can see. Like any great place on Earth, it has some lovely restaurants to choose from as well. We’ve handpicked a few places for food near Newport Beach that we found super interesting.

  • Jolie Restaurant and Rooftop

A restaurant created for the people of Orange County: A classic American cookery, with seasonal fare complemented by an exemplary bar offering in an upbeat yet elevated setting. Diners report captivating sunsets, exemplary service, and delicious sangrias.

They have a menu with loads of variety. Their Fork & Knife burger, Shrimp and Noodle burger (which looks as interesting as it sounds) and the Steak Salad are a good place to start!

  • The Dock

Hidden away on a quiet street, The Dock, adorned with bright lights will catch your eye. When you enter, you’ll be warmly greeted by your host who’ll guide you. The setting is the perfect Bayside location, right on the water with a private dock in case you want to sail up to dinner! The room is intimate without being crowded or loud. Our recommendation? Try their pork chop, as an appetizer the scallops wrapped in bacon. Topping it all off with their delicious affogato for dessert.

  • Bluewater grill

They say once you enter, you’ll get hooked (pun intended). The Bluewater grill is located on an expansive waterfront patio with a full bar, and happy hour, and is pet-friendly as well. Their mission is to serve great food in a relaxed environment by friendly people at a fair price. They believe that fin-tastic hospitality is all about authentic relationships.

If you’re looking for fresh seafood- from lobster and crab to prawns and oysters. You’ll definitely find it here.

  • JOEY Newport Beach

Located in the heart of Fashion Island, JOEY is an opulent oasis. The restaurant has a gorgeous gallery wall featuring several hand-picked local artists and a unique Bocci light installation. They have an open patio that features redactable sections of the roof and a bar. Providing coverage with the option to be open to the sky.

Diners recommend the Chicken Lettuce Wraps, Japanese Gyoza, Steak & Ravioli Bianco, and  Sushi Cone - remember to ask for the sauce with it!
