Makai is a 12 year old Huntington Beach competitive surfer who also enjoys skateboarding, snowboarding, photography, and video editing. He is currently ranked #1 in the NSSA Southwest Conference Menehune division. Makai’s favorite breaks are South-Side HB Pier, Hanalei Bay (Kauai), Lowers, and River Jetties. His favorite surfer is Griffin Colapinto because of his style and positive attitude.
